The reason Carole ran for Governor's Council in 2000
is the same reason she serves today. It's because
the role of the Governor's Council is extremely
important to all of us.
The 8 members of the Governor's or Executive Council
meet weekly to approve or disapprove of each of the
Governor's nominees for all Judicial appointments as
well as members of the Parole Board, Industrial
Accident Board, Appellate Tax Board, Justice's of
the Peace and Notaries Public.
Carole is known for her thorough review of each
nominee that is put forth by the Governor. Whether
serving with a Democratic or Republican
administration, Carole scrutinizes each nominee and
votes yes or no based upon that review process.
